Born and raised in Clermont, Mayor Tim Murry has dedicated his life to serving the community he proudly calls home. A 22-year veteran of the United States Air Force and Desert Storm veteran, he also served 22 years with the United States Postal Service before continuing his commitment to public service as Mayor.<\/p>\n

A lifelong advocate for education and community involvement, Mayor Murry holds three Associate degrees, a bachelor’s degree in Management\/Human Resources, and an MBA. He has helped found and lead numerous civic, youth, faith-based, and veteran organizations, including the Boys & Girls Club of South Lake, while remaining actively involved in organizations that strengthen the Clermont community.<\/p>\n

As Mayor, Tim has focused on transparent leadership, responsible growth, public safety, economic development, infrastructure improvements, and preserving the values that make Clermont a great place to live, work, and raise a family.<\/p>\n
